iSeries-based credit card transaction processing
system that works in tandem with your phone and/or mail order
processing systems. Requests for credit authorization are submitted
by the Credit Authorization System to designated Credit Companies
individually or in batches.
At the point when the order is taken, a credit
request is created which contains the following information:
- Address verification
- Account number
- Account expiration date
- Amount of transaction
- Date and time of transaction
- Location of transaction
- Works in tandem with your phone and/or mail
order processing system
- Authorization requests submitted singly,
or in batches
- Provides a report of all authorization request
responses
- Provides a listing of VIP customers according
to user-set parameters
The PARAGON/2 Credit Authorization System recognizes
the request and reformats it so that it complies with the Credit
Company's requirements. The request is then transmitted to the
appropriate service. Once a response is obtained, the system interprets
the response and sends a message to the user (i.e. approved, denied,
etc.).
Should the on-line system fail at any time
(for example, if a phone line fails) the system will save the
authorization requests so that they may be transmitted in a batch
when the problem is corrected. Mail Orders can also be processed
using this batch method. |
