Twigland Fashions Selects C-Co Technologies’ Retail Software For POS Systems Upgrade

Eagan, MN - March 16, 2004 – C-Co Technologies, LLC, a retail POS software provider, announces today that it has been selected by Twigland Fashions, Ltd., to customize a retail software solution that interacts with its current Island Pacific merchandising information system. C-Co’s software application will improve email capabilities to the stores, increase transaction speed at the registers and decrease the training time of new associates on the register operation.

“We decided to upgrade the software after it became apparent that our current POS system was unable to provide the necessary foundation for the growth plan and customer satisfaction required by the company,” says Daniela Coleman, systems manager for Twigland Fashions. “C-Co’s software solution will give us direct access to the internet enhancing credit card and check verification speeds as well as polling and communication with the stores. It will also allow us to develop web-based training and intranet applications previously unavailable to us.”

C-Co’s POS application will run on the IBM AS/400 unit currently used by Twigland Fashions’ Island Pacific software. Twigland will replace its current Fuijitsu POS hardware with Dell PC-based registers. The new register software and hardware will give the company the ability to incorporate a third-party gift and frequent shopper card directly into the register application.
